I started this months ago when I was with my ex , I accidentally punctured the canvas and decided to string ribbon through it and work through the mistake . I had already added the hearts before we broke up and for awhile I couldn't look at it without being heartbroken because it reminded me of him so much . I couldn't get rid of it though because I had so many ideas for it and as time passed I decided to work on it again , little by little I chipped away at it and it became more beautiful as my heart healed . It's ironic I used the hearts and puzzle pieces , very symbolic now of that phase of my life ... It was dropped , the cat walked on it , even a drink got spilled on it , lol , yet somehow it remained all in one piece !!! Now it's finished !!!! This is proof to myself even though mistakes are made and things get messy it can still result in something beautiful ... Even the picture turned out a little crooked but that's alright , lol , nothing's perfect ;)
