Computer Withdrawal

My computer decided to not turn on and sleep for a couple weeks and my muses swooped in to fill the free time, lol ,  so due to lack of technology I decided to get artsy :) I love painting !!!!! ... And to those who are curious it magically decided to work again , lol , weird !!!!

The No Alarm Clock Celebration

Because sometimes just the fact it's summer and you have no work the next day is reason enough to celebrate , lol , you can make your own adventure like we did !!!! This is from the night the fox and spider came out to play , the ufo landed , there was a midnight coffee run and the sparklers were lit , good times !!! I have to say the fountain was the prettiest part of the night :)

Darkness followed me that day in such a beautiful way , lol .... Making coffee in the dark and playing with flashlights at work to be followed by the amazing storm that took the electric with it that night ... Strawberry was the smell of that storm because of the candle :) I love summer because of the thunderstorms !!!!

                       Spent the day at work having cigarettes with the ladies, lol , candy cigarettes that is !!! And from an amazing friend got some coins towards my 1980 collection , only 69 more to go !!! I love my friends and my awesome presents !!! :)

Through the Trees

Through the trees the sun it shines ,

with each ray creates designs 

Through the coolness the sun it burns ,

with each day the earth it turns 

Through the stillness the breeze it flows ,

with forever motion the fragile grows

Through the sand until the sea ,

with grace the water flows memory 

Through the sky the sun will set ,

with the change the night is met 

Through the darkness the world will rest

with the dawn awake again it's best

Ithaca is one of my favorite places , I love it there , lol , it just may be my future home someday !!!

   Someone actually built a gnome house out of this amazing tree , lol , awesome !!! It's HUGE !!!!

Such a beautiful ride home , even the clouds were winking at us , lol !!!

 

Once I got home it was time to display my treasures I found and rest , what an amazing day !!!

Could not have been happier with my Sunday off :) 

Follow My Heart of Stones

Still it beats but it can't break ,

it burns brighter with each mistake 

Within the heat it turns to stone 

it learned to shine although alone 

 

It's just as pretty but not as pure ,

longs for wellness but hates the cure

Soothes the mind when it feels hollow ,

it leads a path I'll forever follow 

 

Wrote this as a reminder to myself even though something hurts it won't forever ,

in the end it'll be fine .... Forever forward !!!!!!!!!!!! 

34 Going on 5 ... Another year wiser ;)

My birthday balloon !!! I can't believe what an amazing day it was , I'm lucky to have such good friends and family <3 

Even though I turned 34 it felt more like 4 , lol , good times indeed !!!!! :) And the lobster on Easter Sunday made it even better , what an amazing week !!!!

Trapped in a cage , avoid the cold ,

a million thoughts the mind retold 

The stillness haunts , chilled in ice ,

how nature teases with false advice

Through the darkness the brightness beams ,

there will be warmth or so it seems

Mourn the flowers , crave the sun ,

just a little longer , it's all begun

Heat rests to burn the longest days ,
